nobody walks in LA... but i officially LOVE the pasadena flea market, the santa monica pier, show pony, garlic mashed potatoes at the kitchen, burbank, home of ikea, target, AND sizzler! french neighbors, fake french shops ala 'le sex shoppe' with the raymond pettibon (maybe) mural and 'parking in the rear' (which never fails to crack me up, along with the 'hoes in the trunk' we got for potential gardening projects, though the cute plants we got from our new neighbors are already half dead so it doesn't look good), bubblegum goth, sonic youth playing for free two blocks away, at a street fair, with rides! animal cookies that are finally back to normal colors after i had to boycott their 'patriotic' flavours for almost a year - yum! lemon trees, flower lined alleys, the griffith park carousel, where is it? our candy colored house, vin diesel, counting the days till 'party monster' the movie, finding out i sold stuff at the london show after all - yay! pete fowler toys and relax magazine for girls, french sailor tees and jackets, sewing like crazy for blue skies and no candy fall 02, theme bars, old hotel signs, farmers market crepes and candy, pinks hot dogs, home of the double hot dog chili pastrami bacon cheeseburger, and oh, clifton's cafeteria!
